New Band Showcase?

I've been rolling an idea around in my head for the last few weeks. I'd love to be able to put on a new local band showcase where all the new up and coming bands in the area can get together and all play a show together. But I need some suggestions, and obviously the bands.

I was thinking maybe put it on at the West Seattle Legion hall or Fusion. I'd definitely like to see it happen in Seattle, but wherever's cool as long as people come out. New bands only!

Some bands I had in mind:

Wreck
Empire
Circle Of Defeat
Earth Come Evil
Hysterics
At The Mouth Of Hell
Odd Rule (they've played like 2 shows?)

any more suggestions? or people could start even more new bands?


I know we're losing the Viaduct, but that's even more of a reason why we need to support new bands coming up. Would anyone come to this?
